This Slingerland White Satin Flame kit is a 4-pice kit from the 1960s. This kit was originally ordered as a bass drum and snare "Be Bop" kit in 1964. It is Slingerland stock number 62N, which dates these kits from 1963-1968. The snare is the extremely rare one-ply maple shell! The bass drum and snare drum date 1964. The original owner decided to add the 13" tom and 16" floor tom to the kit, and these two drums date 1966. This kit is in overall good condition. The bass drum hardware looks good and works great. The hoops are in excellent condition, the wrap shows a few pressure cracks near the lugs, and the cymbal arm attachment is missing. The badge looks great on the bass drum. The 13" tom is in very good condition. The hardware looks and works great. The badge is slightly lifted, and the wrap has a few marks. The floor tom matches the same condition as the 13" tom. The 14" snare drum is in good condition as well. The badge, snare strainer, and muffler nob look and work well. This kit is very cool and unique and sounds fantastic.
